Ordering from Running Dog

Call or write or email with your interests. I'll be happy to discuss any and all aspects of the guitar -- tone and playability are the most important but appearance feeds the fantasy.

There are no "stock" Running Dogs. Each one is built for a particular customer, with specific preferences.

Your guitar is put on the schedule after I receive a deposit, usually $1000. (In the case of highly customized instruments, I may require a larger deposit.) As of right now (August 2006), my waiting time is about 14 months. Our discussion continues as long into the building process as necessary. It becomes more difficult (and expensive) to change things once the guitar is started.

A couple of weeks before the guitar is ready to ship, I'll get in touch. You get me the balance and the guitar is on its way.

Once you have the guitar, let me know how you like it. I can and will make adjustments to make it your ideal. When it needs its first adjustment (within two years normally), I'll take care of it. After that, your Running Dog is guaranteed for materials and workmanship for (my) life.
